Plan, Schedule, and Execute: Your HER Beauty Fix Sundays Blueprint:

HEY BABE! Welcome to "HER Beauty Fix Sundays," your passport to a week that radiates the energy you've been seeking, leaving behind all the latest celebrity gossip and wondering why Jeezy filed for divorce - because, let's be real, - it’s all just a distraction any way. So before we dive into the glitz and glam world of skincare, makeup, and self-care regimens, let's address those real habits that might be holding you back. Together, we'll learn how to transform your Sundays into a day of self-care and self-love. And trust me, babe, I need this too.

Let’s get into it…

HER Beauty Fix Sundays are all about reminding you to prioritize self-care and beauty routines. Sundays set the tone for the week ahead, and by dedicating this day to yourself, you're starting your journey towards self-love, discipline, and truly trusting yourself.

“Because we all know life - be lifeing sometimes”

SO Here’s The Blueprint:

Let’s Start by Setting the Tone for Your Day with an Effective Morning Routine

You'll love yourself for starting this, but I know what you're thinking: Can I do this every morning?

The Answer is YES! Please TRY IT - Start with One day at a time then work your way up from there. BABY STEPS my girl.

By a show of likes. How often do you wake up in the morning, reach for your phone, and immediately dive into Instagram or TikTok? It's a common habit, but it's also a habit that often leaves us feeling drained rather than energized.

Here are 5 Things you can do instead:

A NEW MORNING REGIMEN:

  1. Prayer or Meditation: Take a few moments for reflection, prayer, or meditation to center yourself and cultivate inner peace. Instead of scrolling through social media, focus on nurturing your inner self.

  • Express GRATITUDE: I AM Grateful for what will be an amazing day, today.

  • Pray Over Your Blessings and the ones on it’s way to you.

  • Be THANKFUL for the good times & the days you grew through things and situations that you felt were bad for you, only for things to work out in the end - because really just LEVELED UP.

  • Lay In silence and complete stillness for 3-5 minutes a day (Notice What comes to mind? What Answers did you receive?)

  1. Affirmations: Begin your day with powerful affirmations. Stand in front of the mirror and declare your worth, strength, and beauty. It's time to change the narrative.

The most common go to when saying affirmations is I AM, but what about I KNOW?

  • I know I’m RICH af!

  • I understand myself!

  • I accept my emotions

  • I live a life of luxury

  • HE IS MY MAN, MY MAN, MY MAN, Thank you to MY MAN - jk let’s not go overboard but the girls that get it, get it!

Sprinkle, Sprinkle

Can you imagine what can happen if you start your day off like this for 25 consecutive days? GIRL LET’S TACO BOUT IT, shall we?

  1. Healthy Breakfast Recipe: Fuel your body with a nourishing breakfast. We'll share some healthy recipes to kickstart your day, ensuring you're feeding your body the right way.

Try this:

Sweet Potato Avocado Toast with Sunny Side Up Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 1 sweet potato

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1/2 lemon (juiced)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 eggs

  • Olive oil for cooking

  • Optional toppings: cherry tomatoes, jalapeños sauce, spinach

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Slice the sweet potato lengthwise into 1/2-inch thick slices.

  • Place the sweet potato slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast for about 20-25 minutes or until they're soft and slightly crispy.

  • While the sweet potatoes are roasting, mash the ripe avocado in a bowl, add lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.

  • Once the sweet potato slices are done, let them cool slightly.

  • In a separate pan, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Crack two eggs into the pan and cook until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny (sunny side up).

  • Spread the avocado mixture on each sweet potato slice.

  • Top with your sunny side up eggs and your favorite toppings like cherry tomatoes, radishes, or spinach.

  • Serve and enjoy your delicious and nutritious Sweet Potato Avocado Toast with Sunny Side Up Eggs!

Feel free to use your choice of bread in place of sweet potatoes if you prefer a more traditional option.

Tell me in the comments if this recipe was BOMB AF - Because I already know.

  1. Plan to Attend Church Virtually or Locally: If attending church is part of your spiritual practice, Sunday mornings are a perfect time for reflection and connection. It's a chance to nurture your soul and build community. Regardless of whatever your spiritual practice is or your personal preference to either watch church from home or locally - make time for God!

Here’s some ways you can spend more time with God:

  • Sit Quietly with God & ask Him to listen to your heart.

  • Listen to worship music of your choice.

  • Read your Bible.

  • Pray & just talk to God, open yourself up - No you don’t have to memorize your prayers!

  • You can journal about how you feel and things you’re grateful for, which is another amazing way.

  • FASTING. YES, fasting is not just about dieting. Sometimes, we need to fast from social media, certain music types, going OUTSIDE, fast from people, places, and things to realign yourself with God & your higher self.

Noon: Schedule

Now that we’ve effectively set our tone for the day…

Let's address another common pitfall. Do you often find yourself overwhelmed by a lack of structure? It's easy to lose track of time, leaving self-care and beauty routines on the backburner, sometimes family and our closest relationships too. Or maybe we’re spending too much time for everyone else & not ourselves. Which ever applies to your situation HER Beauty FIX got you covered.

Start By Time Mapping for Schedule for the day:

Create a time map that outlines your self-care activities, beauty routines, relaxation moments, Sunday funday, and any necessary tasks you'd like to accomplish. Time mapping helps you structure your day and ensures you allocate dedicated slots for self-care.

Here’s 4 Questions you can ask yourself first:

  1. What time do I need to wake up to get an early start at getting the most of my day?

  2. What do I want my day to look like?

  3. What are some things I need to prioritize first, second, and last?

  4. How long will I spend on each activity or task?

Here’s what that look like:

7:00 AM - 7:30 AM: Prayer, Meditation & Journaling

7:45 AM - 8:00 AM: Yoga or Stretch Routine

8:30 AM - 9:30 AM: Shower, Skincare & Makeup Regimen

9:45 AM - 10:15 PM: Breakfast

10:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Make time for God

12:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Brunch, Sunday Funday or Self Care Task

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Evening Skincare Routine

7:30 PM - 8:30 PM: Journaling and Reflection for the week

We hope this helps,
